From the legacy in SS21, we continue to explore the origin of the 70-80’s canto pop singers’ images. Inspired by Kenji Sawada, a Japanese artist active in the 1960's until the 2000s, who prospered greatly on Japanese popular culture in the last three decades of the Shōwa era as a singer and actor. The SS22 collection illustrates this pioneer of androgynous and versatile images.

 

With the bright and colourful style with stagey elements, this collection creates a popping image reminiscing the images of Kenji. A brand new fresh look is here for you to shine bright in the dark.
